Arriving to Porthleven we were happy and sad as well that the UK part of Adventure for life is getting closer to its end. But we wanted to have nice time what we truly had. Porthleven is a little town by the sea with great atmosphere. The sea can sometimes be unpredictable but within a minute the wind and the rain can change to warm sun. That is the moment when people come out of comfy bars where they were hiding (we were doing same).
The next day we rode to Land’s End, the real end of the mainland in Cornwall. This is the point where many people start or finish their own End to End (from John O’Groats to Land’s End or the way round) journeys. We are happy to say, we were there. These people do so on purpose, for charities they choose (same as we do in our Adventure for life). After spending great time at the Land’s End, we moved along the coast to visit Minack Theatre. This theatre was created on the rock by hands of very strong woman with a sense for art and community. From there we rode to Penzance and Mousehole to again remind our memories of 2014 trip.
The next day we made small trips along the seacoast to see St Michaels Mount, Marazion and Lizard point.
